I have had a lovely family week with lots of excuses to get together with family and friends and today is my Mum's Birthday so I will be visiting her this evening to give her her pressie. This year I have made her a framed card which she can display all year and I have used my favourite Brenda walton dies.

I used the Big Shot Pro to make a gift box and then decorated this with the same die-cut shapes. All of the text has been made simply using a PC & printer.

I really love the colours that I have used but you can change them to suit your own taste obviously.
Well, all thats left is to fill the gift box...Mum's are so difficult to buy for in my opinion, they have everything already!

The die is a large Sizzlit die which is perfect fro paper crafting. It is called Poinsettia Swirls but I think it is far too useful to use just for Christmas. There are plenty of shapes that can be used on non-festive projects and the swirl is to die for!
