I have spent the last week in Frankfurt attending the Creativeworld trade exhibition and today is the first day in the office for over a week and I am a little tired to say the least!

As you can see the chaos soon became a thing of beauty! Each of the cabinets contained projects made by Pete, Angela and I using the new 2014 collections, I really love how each area looks completely different despite the fact that they were created by only three people. There was also an area displaying projects made using the new Nel Whatmore applique dies which will be available in the summer.

And here we are! From the left we have our amazing quilting specialist Angela, Key Account Manager Hellen, the very talented Italian designer and blogger, Loredana Bucaria who was demonstrating the Sizzix products on the stand of one of our Italian wholesalers, Stamperia. Next we have our very own Pete Hughes, myself and on the end (in a very unusual pose!) we have Will Rees, Customer Service Team Leader. All such lovely people and great company which made being away from home so much easier.

Creativeworld is such an inspiring exhibition with so many companies getting together to showcase the newest and the best of what the craft industry has to offer. Our stand at the exhibition received so many compliments not only because of how amazing it looked but also because everyone loved the new products for 2014.
We spent three days building the stand and although it was hard work it was really worth the effort. As you can see, Pete even swapped his craft tools for joinery tools to help Steve the carpenter although I think the craft world can relax, he soon switched back to his trusty glue gun and glitter as soon as he was able!
This is where I lived...well after four long days it felt that way! This was first thing in the morning but it was rare to have so few people around. There was so much excitement around the stand and it was exhilarating to be in the middle of it all.

I can not believe that in less than two weeks time we will be doing it all over again in the UK trade exhibition, Craft, Hobby and Stitch at the NEC!
